Ashraf Badr, the current Managing Director of Al-Josour Holding for Financial Investments, also serves as Managing Director of Brngi Digital Insurance Brokerage.
He progressed through several professional roles, beginning his career as an Insurance Specialist in the Miscellaneous and Engineering Insurance Department at Suez Canal Insurance Company from 1984 until the end of 1987.
He later served as Underwriting Manager for Engineering and Property Insurance at the National Company for Cooperative Insurance (NCCI) in Saudi Arabia from 1993 until 2000.
He continued advancing in his career until he assumed the position of Senior Reinsurance Specialist at the Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority until 2009. In mid-February of the same year, he was appointed Director General of the General Administration for Technical Support and Company Licensing.
In March 2015, he was appointed Head of the Central Administration for Policies and Research (Senior Grade), followed by his appointment in early March 2016 as Senior Advisor to the Central Administration for Research, in addition to serving as Advisor to the Central Administration for Complaints.
Academic Qualifications
Ashraf Badr, Managing Director of Brngi Digital Insurance Brokerage, holds several distinguished academic and professional qualifications, including:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting) from Cairo University
• Two postgraduate diplomas in Property Insurance and Life Insurance from Cairo University
• Fellowship (FCII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), London
• Associate (ACII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute, London
• Associate Certificate from Toronto Centre, Canada
• Certificate of Insurance Practice (CIP) from the Chartered Insurance Institute, London
He has been registered in the Consulting Experts Registry of the Financial Regulatory Authority since 1987 and is also a court-appointed insurance expert before the Economic Courts in Cairo.
